If ur dad is like my mom and likes serial cop shows (ik), 911 lone star features a trans man who passes as one of the main characters

I js showed him the trans men, but the issue isn’t that he’s wrong, it’s that he holds these opinions while doing zero research. He refuses to learn and I view him as a lost cause for it, as even when I show him stuff his arguments boil down to NUH uh

I see. The show does a decent job explaining being trans in a way that isn’t rly invasive to the plot, so I'd still recommend trying it (or other media that has trans characters that does it okay). Sometimes people aren’t interested in learning and you have to kind of sneak the info in outside of direct confrontations
