I've had this happen to me before. I'm a trans man and when I was in Martha's Vineyard, I met a guy who was transphobic. He made comments about how he's okay with gay but not trans, that he didn't want to affirm their delusion, and much more. Little did he know he was talking to a trans person. Also, I was literally holding a book about a transgender kid so....yeah.
