going to have to come out as gay and also dating a trans person to trumper family... does anyone have any advice

Make sure your partner is comfortable with this first but maybe introduce them first without saying you’re together or that they’re trans? If they form a connection first they may be more accepting if they find out you’re queer afterwards, sort of like breaking the stereotype in their head if that makes sense

have a way out that you can use immediately. a taxi on reserve or a friend or something. keep phone fully charged. make sure they don't have access to your bank accounts and can't take money out esp if one of them set it up you'll probably have to call your bank. if they're going to pull your insurance which is very possible look into what options you have through work/medicaid

and there's not really a way to do that lol he's never introduced anyone to his family b4 + they'd know immediately that im trans, its obvious

Why would you want to be introduced to trump supporters though? Genuine question. Building a connection with those people is not worth it at all in my opinion, but I also don’t know your story
