In a trans context, that’s just dysphoria. As for if it helps, that’s going to depend on the person. I personally use a prosthetic 24/7, and while it definitely does not alleviate all of my dysphoria, it does absolutely help it. I’ve seen some other people say that for them, it brings more attention to what they don’t have in their mind and therefore doesn’t help. You’re just going to have to experiment with it to determine if it’s something that helps you personally

Ngl he was kinda ahead of his time in a way, no one saw the future gooner epidemic like he did 😔✊🏼i know he has crazy theories but i feel like some have validity like sure hopefully guys don’t want to fuck their mom but some actually do theoretically and physically, or they could want to fuck a mother figure in their life like a wife that takes care of their every need. That’s put very simply and generally of course but he was crazy but so is society yk

Um okay so y'all may want to know that freud's penis envy comes specifically from his idea that men are "complete people" and women are "incomplete" because they have "missing parts" (penis) and penis envy is trying to explain why girls apparently hate their moms for "stealing" their penis (you can tell we didn’t know anything abt chromosomes...)

I’m not sure how many of his theories hold up tbh😭 I’m not psych major but I’ve heard most of them are just bullshit expect for like one or two very important ones which is why we even still talk about him.

Also did Freud consider that (usually) women have tits and men don’t🙄 That sounds like a missing part to me. Also I seriously cannot believe that he said that girls hate their moms for stealing their penis what in the fuck how do I even respond to that. He was on cocaine wasn’t he. Everyone back then was on cocaine.
