this is really tough ☹️ i’m sure that them labeling as “lesbian” can be dysphoria inducing. i think it’s important to remember though that their label is a box. it’s a generalization that helps them simplify and describe themselves to other people. i might ask them for clarification to see if that simplification is excluding some really cool men (like yourself:)). if not, as sad as it may be, it’s likely best to step away from that situation and put yourself first to avoid issues down the road.
