You can always have Olive as a nickname! Olivia is more clearly feminine which will make life easier when you introduce yourself or when you eventually get your legal name changed. -from an oliver ;)

olive is a fantastic name! i actually know another transfemme named olive lol. it is never too late to change ur name, ik ppl years into transition who’ve picked a new one, but dont feel like u have to bc some ppl have been cruel to you. it’s your name :) you get to pick it :)

if you like olive that’s 100% the name you should go with. that being said, a lot of my trans friends who tried out a feminine version of their deadname really didn’t like it. if you do, that is GREAT. names are kind of like tattoos, they can have a ton of meaning behind them, or they can be something you liked and either one is just as good of a reason to pick it. and 17 is not too old. i’d say that’s younger than most people, at least most of my friends
