Its one thing to have comphet and get over this but this feels like when girls come up to me and go "ugh i wish i was a lesbian". Lesbians can still be chasers, lesbians can still be abusers, lesbians can be manipulative and terrible in all the same ways men can be

safety. safety is what's wrong. i don't trust myself to find a good partner, and men are so much more likely to be awful.

and to assume that cuz theyre lesbians theyre safe is not only misogynistic but dangerous. Got me abused multiple times

you've probably seen the data. lesbians are the most likely group to be pro-trans while straight men are the least. men commit over 90% of violent crime. i would much rather have a supportive partner who would be less likely to hurt me over a less supportive partner more likely to hurt me. i don't trust myself to get it right every time, so based on the data being lesbian is just the safer option.

I understand your fear, but there are also so, so many good men out there. It would also not be fair to your partner if you dated a woman but you’re not actually attracted to women

Fr thats what i was trying to get at. And im a lesbian i wasnt trying to be lesbophobic but moreso saying even if theyre trans accepting doesnt mean theres no risk
