do trans guys/transmascs get annoyed when they get called “king” constantly because I get annoyed when I get called “queen” as a tfem NB

dunno if I’m being harsh, but it feels very strange when someone calls me “queen” as an NB or calls trans women “queen” but don’t do the same to cis women in their lives…

Honestly I just don’t like modern slang as a whole. I’m also autistic and speak “in a unique way” according to others. So yes I hate being called king but I also hate a lot of slang

It’s cool from some people when I know it’s part of their casual language, but I can tell when they don’t usually call people that, and it feels performative

it's a bit weird. they don't do it with cis guys and it's like, i get you're trying to be accepting (and it's way better than the alternative) but doing that means that my gender still sticks out to them, and that sucks

Yes :’) It’s just personal preference, and I’m glad that others don’t mind/like it, but I do not want to be called that

I get that—for me it seems like people are treating trans people & cis people of the same gender differently (or tfem & tmasc NBs differently). not in an openly bad way, just in an “I see you differently from this other group of the same gender, so I’m trying to extra-affirm you” way…

It could be due to the false transmisogynistic association of cis male drag queens with trans women and transfems
