That’s usually spelled “hun” when shortened like that, from everything I’ve seen and how I use it.

I’m pretty sure that was the origin, but they gave it a second meaning. They were using the existing term of endearment “hon” passive aggressively towards other trans women, then it sort of shifted to become its own thing. At least that’s my understanding of it
