bring a backup pool skirt. even if you don't end up using it, it can be comforting to know you have the option. also sunscreen (including if you're not white!) and reapply it at least every two hours.

pool skirts are skirts make of swimsuit fabric that are more common with moms, but they're generally acceptable and are usually black so they go with anything. they're about a three inch inseam or so. sunscreen is good for everyone and the bottle will have directions on the back.
