guys i have a gynecology appointment the day before im supposed to start T... should I tell my gynecologist?? she doesn't know im trans but im on birth control so i want to make sure that my hormones wont be fucked

if it makes you uncomfortable don’t feel like you have to disclose, but definitely tell your hormone provider that you’re on birth control. generally BC doesn’t interact with t.

i get that but who knows she may know more about how to keep your gynecological area good when u take the t or this experience can help her with her future trans patients if she ends up ignorant or rude that’ll also tell u to remove her from your care team
