One of my least favorite trans experiences is when another trans person is like “I need more trans friends” and I try to hit them up and befriend them and they fall silent. Like I was excited to be your friend but I guess not :(

tbf I want more trans friends but I don’t want more *online* trans friends. that’s why I don’t make the “I want more trans friends” posts tho bc I know people will think I want more online friends

Honestly I just need more friends it’s just hard for me to be the one to keep in-touch like I will unintentionally forget someone exists until they text me or I see them again and suddenly remember “hey we’re friends, sorry I don’t talk more”
