I think they’ll be supportive. I am just so anxious about it. like to the point where I have had top surgery and look very passably male, but I haven’t asked anyone to use a different name or anything for me (although my bf and his family do). It doesn’t help that we’re visiting a country where trans is illegal, and I have to either fem it up really hard (and I risk possibly being clocked as a trans woman) or lean into the masc and come out as a trans guy to my family 😬
