As someone who had surgery recently I would suggest not getting nipples if you don’t care because it will save you a little money. Also talk with doctors about payment plans if you are not insured. Another way to potentially get some money knoecked off if don’t have insurance is to call after getting the bill and ask for an itemized version and then it will probably come back cheaper

It’s through a private clinic so even if my insurance would cover it they wouldn’t take it. And I have to have it fully paid 3 weeks before surgery, so like November 18th. I unfortunately very much want to keep the nips and it was only a $500 difference. I have a GoFundMe but it’s not gotten much traction, and then I put $150 into a savings account every two weeks and I’ve got like $3k saved up, and I’m financing the rest with CareCredit

lowkey crazy suggestion like it would be cheaper but also. it's your body for the rest of your life you shouldn't be minmaxing it
