Does anyone know how to get on T without your family knowing or am I cooked. Idfk if I've even got enough funds to stay on it either. I'm FtM btw. How long do I have to be on T have any bottom growth?

bottom growth is one of the first things that happens. for any at all? probably a month. for a substantial amount? probably a year to a year and a half. you could try a mail service option like folx or plume. t is pretty noticeable pretty quickly though. you'll sound like you're sick 24/7 if ppl don't know your voice is dropping.

it's also worth seeing if any of the manufacturers for it have patient assistance programs or copay cards. emailing them is a good way to do it, but for generics most don't. if you were getting a brand name like aveed, they tend to have more stuff. also if you fill a prescription at a pharmacy, they will almost certainly run it through insurance even if you ask them not to. their system is designed to put everything through insurance. my mom could see my medical bills so worth noting.

Ah alright! Does that count if my insurance won't cover it? I'm pretty sure it won't unfortunately which is why I'm alright paying out or pocket for a bit since I've saved up enough to cover a couple months. I did see that bottom growth will continue when I return on T so I'm not super worried about taking long breaks

Like will they run it through my insurance so my parents will end up seeing my medical bills even if my insurance doesn't cover it whatsoever :,)
