Cis people fundamentally can’t understand trans people and so putting blind faith in them (yes even allies) is not usually a good thing. It sucks to be paranoid but I’ve learned my lesson many times

the more i transition the more i realize cis women are never allies to us and we’re just their “gay friend” or just tools to say “look i’m woke right!!!!!”

read this an hour ago and thought it might’ve been an exaggeration given the blue-ness of the recent top posts, then i see one about trans athletes filled with people saying they’re against it. will we ever be free

Cis people are, and for the rest of our lifetimes will continue to be, a class of oppressors. This is just factually the case. Not saying that there are not good cis people, because there absolutely are, but don’t grow complacent

This is why my ultimate goal is perma stealth. If you disclose you are trans how people perceive you will always change, even if you claim otherwise

i’m like semi stealth rn and on one hand i wanna just hide my transness for good so i can just be normal to cis people but on the other hand it sucks so much sealing away a part of yourself you know?

I understand what you mean. the way I view it is that I can only be out to a few certain people and it’s nice to have a few trans friends to talk about things with. However being trans is not really a thing that I’m proud of so I don’t see a need to be out about it. Personally that’s how it is to me
