i dont like 4tran but i completely understand why people would go there. it sucks being super dysphoric and being unable to vent to ppl in ur community bc ur “just as valid” as everyone else. like thats rlly nice but it isnt rlly what needs to be said rn

also i’ve noticed that when i post abt how im dysphoric theres always a few comments (almost bragging?) abt how they arent dysphoric? like thats awesome for u but telling me i should just not care abt it bc u also dont seems rlly vapid & insensitive. idk

Still one of the only trans socials that will accept u when u say “yeah i used to be conservative but then i got better” for some strange reason Also the only place i feel comfortable asking questions about the lgbt community without being banned or mass reported for some reason (however here is fine 99% of the time somehow)

Literally same like the board is toxic but I will admit I browse the subreddits more than I probably should because no other online community gets it like they do

my goal in transitioning is to alleviate dysphoria (whereas for some (many?) its to promote euphoria) and i have literally zero issues w that at all but sometimes it gets to a point where i dont feel welcome in trans spaces just bc i dont like my agab. & i feel like its amplified bc these ppl constantly post abt how fun being trans is and im really not having a great time

i’m still not gonna post on 4tran abt “youngshit passoids” or whatever bc i have a job and like going outside but i will say i feel more similar to & safer w ppl who /are/ dysphoric, which (from what ive noticed at least) happens to be more 4tran ppl ig

honestly (at least on the reddit pages) ive felt like they’re a lot more critical of conservative “phases” than other places (which makes me feel a lot safer.) a lot of trans spaces have ppl saying stuff like “i used to nave a n@zi phase but im trans now” and the communities respond with “omg me too” or “yay trans,” whereas the tttt adjacent spaces will respond with “what do u mean u were a n@zi?”

You may be hanging out with the wrong dysphoric people then 😭 the majority of my friends experience dysphoria and are definitely not 4channers
