It’s actually crazy how safe I feel walking home alone at night now that people see me as a man (and a slightly intimidating looking one) so I think I should just start a service where trans women text me if they need a buddy to walk them home?
I’m a trans girl and I would absolutely sign up for that lowkey

as a trans girl that suddenly feels way more unsafe walking, that would be SICK

Should get a really big dog that looks intimidating while on duty but is really a big love ball /hj (def not bc big dogs feel safer)

Slayyyyy yeah I think especially coming home from the clubs like tonight I’ve had so many friends catcalled and harassed on their way home it just makes me feel better knowing you all have a buddy

Yea yea exactly like I’m still closeted but I def worry about my safety in the future when I start to present fem especially at night. And ESPECIALLY if I start going to clubs lol (which I might not. Loud lmao) I’m probs gonna buy pepper spray once I get to college again lowkey.

Unfortunately pepper spray will definitely get confiscated if you try to bring it into the club so make sure to keep it not in your bag but preferably in your shoes (like boots) or pockets that won’t be checked

I meant more like when walking around campus actually but that’s good to know. Honestly that makes sense if a bar fight broke out and they used it you’d have to get everyone out of the building😭

Yeah everyone go adopt pitbulls as an allegory for how trans people are seen as scary and villainized but are actually very sweet and just trying to live life without getting stares

I didn’t say pitbull, I meant a great Dane (I have two, they can look intimidating but I get more of ‘look at those horses’ instead of ‘stay away from them they got a pitbull’)
