Should I change my name? My name is Blue. Im ftm and pass but I want to be fully stealth. Im thinking about changing it to a more traditional guy name but ive had the name for so long that I worry changing it now would make things worse

If you truly want to change your name, then do it, if people don’t respect that then fuck them. You could also do what I did and have a more traditional masc name which you’ll legally change to and then keep your less traditional name as a nickname for people you’re close to to call you

dont change yourself bro if you pass dont overthink it blue is a cool name and will make you memorable. if you truly love your name thats all that matters.

blue can still be a nickname!! having another legal name would probably help being stealth, but honestly life is weird and sometimes people just have unconventional names

Yeah, like honestly Blue sounds like a cool nickname I’d give to a guy friend, and I know a lot of people who go exclusively by their nicknames. If you’re concerned about being stealth you could make your legal name smth more traditional and keep Blue as the name you go by
