honestly I think it’s best to communicate with your partner about what makes them feel good and focus on that. I think a lot of cis people feel like there’s some kind of rulebook they have to follow to be a good ally but in my experience it’s more about respect, trust, and the constant choice to show love for one another.
As a trans guy dating a (currently) cis guy, it’s all about being open to anything. Like be as open minded as you can and understand that everyone is different. If he wants to feel more masculine then do that, but also some trans guys feel forced into hypermasculinity so make sure it’s healthy and he feels more confident rather than boxed in!
I don’t know you nor your partner, but I do think that therapy (or some form of shadow work, whatever works for you) can be a great tool for navigating the complexities of both your own psyche and the intersections of your relationship. I think we live in a society where the onus is placed on the individual, and there is so much pressure to figure things out for ourselves, but it’s ok to ask for help. find a network that supports you.
Honestly it’s good ur doing research. My best advice is to just be as open to communication as humanly possible and then treat him like any other dude. Dysphoria can be a minefield but getting treated with kid gloves or feeling like you’re being ‘pandered to’ can also fuck people up
