i would say if you're not cis you're trans, but it ultimately comes down to what you feel comfortable identifying as. i'm nonbinary and i also identify as trans because that label feels comfortable to me and i identify with a lot of the same issues as trans people, but if you don't want to be trans don't be. it's up to you

I’m agender and consider myself trans, but it’s truly up to you if you take on the label of trans.

I’ve been flipping between a trans man and agender. I have a perferred name but I don’t mind close family calling me my dead one. Same with pronouns. I’m fluid based on who I’m around. I don’t see myself completely as either and have my own terms when it comes to what feels like masculinity and femininity. I can say “I’m a man” and “I’m a woman” and feel and mean both but not at the same time. “I am.” Feels the most complete. I just am. A man when needed or wanted. A woman when needed or wanted.

that's awesome! i have similar feelings surrounding gender which is why i ultimately settled on the nonbinary label, but that label is still a lot more complex for me than just "not a man or woman." is having a label to identify with important to you? because i honestly would argue that if finding a label has been too stressful, just identifying as you is plenty. but i definitely understand the need to have a label to identify with as well

It’s not really important to me, but I realize it’s important to my social persona if that makes sense. People seek identity from me and when I respond back with a lack of or in a way they can not understand, it changes how I’m viewed. Especially with my parents who still very heavily cling to an identity trans or not
