They could mean specifically medical detransition, or they live somewhere where they have to either pass or be closeted for safety

Yeah, I live in rural SC. I don’t know any other trans people. It just wouldn’t be safe for me to not pass.

Damn thats rlly far. U should call and ask! I know ppl from pretty rural areas who have been able to get assistance. Also look into other queer orgs that may do grants there are many

Good luck brother bear. May also be worth it to check fb groups/reddit stuff for nearby areas often ppl do mutual aid sharing or getting rid of oversupply
