Ive tried showering in the dark its mostly about touching where i have to clean that is really unbearable for me. The last shower i took I cried the whole time and it took me a few hours to feel normal again

Would using one of those loofas on a stick help so you don’t have to touch it directly?

I’m sorry you’re going through that 💔 If touching is a no-go for you then maybe you can just rinse off and air dry. (Bubble bath may help) Something is better than nothing for your health and safety. Just remember you’re not alone in this and your community is here for you 🫶

You’re welcome🫶🫶🫶 I agree with 1 your community will be here for you if you need it and we understand❤️❤️. And if that idea doesn’t work there’s also these things called African net sponges which are even more indirect. But they’re far rougher so that wouldn’t be my first choice for that area.

as alternative to a net sponge, you could get a large wash cloth and use that (some dish towels and wash cloths are basically the same thing but dish towels are larger)
