when using lipstick, use lipliner as well, it'll make it cleaner, it's easy to color inside the lines liquid lipstick generally won't transfer, actual tube lipstick will lip gloss looks pretty but will always transfer Contour is MAGIC and can reshape your face (be careful contouring, I accidentally made my nose look crooked once) if you have lighter eyes/hair, use brown mascara/eyeliner instead of black, black will be a little jarring

If you’re scared of actual contouring (I am lol) you can also somewhat contour with blush and highlight placement!

makeup looks different on different skin tones, use the in store testers if you can never sleep in makeup if you're trying to color correct dark facial hair, use just a touch of orange, it'll help (you can go over it with foundation later) make sure to blend everything well blend your foundation just slightly down your neck under your jaw so there isn't a hard line where your makeup ends you can create the effect of eyeliner with eyeshadow and it's much easier
