soyboy is based on the fact that soy has plant estrogen in it which doesn’t really have an effect on the human body. however conservatives saw estrogen and soy together and just assumed that it did affect people and that “soyboys” are weak and effeminate. its basically just a stupid insult by stupid people

i mean ive heard soyboy used to mean something along the lines of "beta male" or "mommys boy" type of thing so its probably at least a little derogatory however they mean it
