So I started trying to lose weight recently, both for my own health but also in the hopes it’d start deflating my chest and removing some fat from my hips. So far it’s only coming off my stomach so my chest is looking bigger proportionally :,,,,,,,,)

Like istg if I was a cis woman I feel like I’d probably be feeling like I was winning the genetic lottery because I’ve seen so many cis women trying to lose weight only in their stomach and waist and instead it comes off their boobs and/or butt 😭😭😭

you could try lifting weights a little but you cannot spot reduce fat

No I know you can’t spot reduce fat, but I know fat usually is lost mostly in certain areas first that depend on the person before other areas are hit. Like I said in my comment, I’ve seen a lot of cis women trying to lose weight complain that they’re not losing any weight in their stomach and are instead losing it in their boobs and butt, I thought maybe I’d be lucky and be like that or the weight loss would at least hit my chest pretty early on

I’ve not heard that before, but regardless I’m mainly focused on cardio atm. I’ve tried going straight into strength training without working on cardio first before and it didn’t go well when I worked on my legs (leg muscles are huge and therefore take a huge amount of energy to exercise, so you need to have good endurance for them). Once my stamina’s in a good place, I’ll start strength training and try to hit areas that’ll masculize my silhouette a bit!

honestly if you build muscle in your chest for the most part that’ll def reduce the appearance of your chest as youre building size in other areas especially if your more fit overall. a cheat workout hitting upper, middle and lower chest is whats best.
