I mean I’m a trans fem but I did go through testosterone puberty in middle school. And yea it’s a while😭 And hell I was one of the lucky ones without much acne

Noted 🥲 I think I’m ~3-4 years, but knowing how I transition it’ll likely be 6 to resolve for me haha

I wasn’t, my family has this condition that causes excessive acne Thank fuck that it slowed down massively on estrogen 😭

Oh lord yea that doesn’t sound good😭 Im glad it’s slowed down for you now lol. How long did that take for you once you started E? Cause I started a couple months ago and that hasn’t changed for me yet lol.

I’m only abt a year in, but for me it was prob 7 months or so when it really kicked in. Injections helped even moreso In the end though even that isn’t always enough to keep all acne away forever. Wash your pillowcases weekly, wash your face daily, get some sunlight, and stuff like that

Oh ye I’m only two and a half months In lol so that makes sense. And yea I’ll do those things. I already wash my face daily. Tbh I haven’t gotten acne in years my issue is I just don’t like it when my nose gets greasy lol. And I still gotta wash my hair every day. And also I still got boy-stink😔 Being able to skip one shower without looking and smelling like I’ve skipped five will be great lmao😭

Best advice to keep in mind is that transitioning is a marathon, not a sprint. You will get changes in the first year, however, that first year is mainly your body laying the foundation for what’s to come. In most cases, people are not going to be passing in just a year or anything

Like I’m a year in, and I still don’t get any “miss” or “she”. However, I do get people who stare at me trying to figure out my gender. There’s a lot of expressions along the line of 🤨

Yea I know it’s just something I hate thinking about🫠 My mind automatically assumes that I’m just never gonna pass or see the changes I want and the longer time goes on without seeing changes as fast as I’d like doesn’t make it any better yk. Dysphoria on top of regular anxiety is shitty. I basically always assume the worst lol and this is no different. It’s hard to get myself to believe that smth good will happen to me.
