I treat my internal monologue and 🤨 things I say like a friend, like if someone I knew was saying those things would they still be eggy

Examples (realized I should give context) - “man it’d be so much cooler if we could take our shirt off. But obviously we’d need pecs for that.” - While helping my dad work on the car: “wow. Just men working on a car. Very ✨manly✨.” - Saying to my dad’s face that I was born to be a dad because I make awesome dad jokes (this has happened many times) - “I’d make a great dad” - The unholy urge to wear my binder

same but maybe not even a friend. more like a gremlin who has no filter. thoughts just happen and we have no control over that. they don’t represent who we are. don’t believe everything you think:)

Aye true. But if the thought is “I would make an awesome guy. Like im fine enough being a girl but I would be so comfortable as a guy” then you mayyyy wanna look into that

yeah! that’s the beauty of life! you get to choose which thoughts you indulge! i guess i misread the post as having self-doubting thoughts. but the point is, you decide who you are. thoughts are just worms exploring every possibility to help you find that! often they find especially yummy dirt! an excellent system up until they find pickles (worms hate pickles). luckily they can steer around it!
