Like I loved the name Jamie, but my middle name starts with a J so that sounds rlly awkward. Then Everett, but only in a specific pronunciation and it’d look ugly if I change it. Also feels too feminine. Then Eddison, Arthur, and James but idk if they fit ME and not the characters I like when I see those names. And now I’m considering Oscar, but idk

one thing I've seen is people go to fast food/coffee shops and try different names and see how it feels when they call out the name for the order
