every time I see somebody say they are DL I automatically wanna out them because you’re choosing to be gay and everything but you’re choosing to make yourself appear straight when you’re obviously not

Dl means down low or a straight passing man or a man in the closet, and trade is a term meaning an attractive traditionally masculine man originally referring to men in trade professions like construction workers

basically, I have had too many people say they would like to do things with me and then I’m like oh let’s go out and do this and they’re like oh I can’t. I’m I don’t want people seeing me like that and I’m like you’re out here choosing to do gay stuff and then they think oh I’m gonna wear a mask like that’s really gonna hide your features
