Okay if they’ve got the NRA against it I’m not as worried as I was😭😭😭 Cause if the 2nd amendment absolutists are riled up that’s a big roadblock

It’s important to recognise “law abiding citizens” here is just vague enough that this is enough for them that they’ll use it to “make them trans illegal” to get around it. We already know due process doesn’t matter UNLESS it’s them and they’ve got hundreds of laws on the books to try to get rid of us.

‘Law abiding citizens’ The 2nd amendment is very specifically meant to protect people breaking the law by uprising against tyranny.

like i know we’re not the biggest fans of the supreme court but even this seemed like a step too unconstitutional for them

hi, i know a lot about guns, there’s so much information i want to jam into your skull I can’t do it on yikyak. long story short, go to your local gun shop (the less nazi-looking the better) and ask them about training programs in your area. guns are expensive and very easy to misuse, if you’re untrained you’re a liability not an asset. then look for john brown gun club or similar groups, they should also do training

I’d look up the gun licensing laws in your state! And then find a training program either how #7 said or by looking it up and yeah scope the place out to make sure it’s the right place for you Some states require training and licenses to buy a gun (and I’d recommend training regardless)
