Honestly you might not need either of those things. I don’t have a primary care doctor and I didn’t use my insurance but I still got hrt. It probably depends on your state and the clinic. Cause I used a sliding scale payment plan and didn’t need a referral or anything like that.

I’d be careful with a diagnosis, if laws are placed that allow restriction of trans medical care it will likely be done through diagnoses of gender dysphoria, if they can find another reason to prescribe tho there would be no worries. I don’t mean to cause anxiety, I live in Texas though where it’s a more pressing concern. Much love
