unsure if this will apply for you, but i think what’s been most helpful for me is leaning into more confident body language, or rather unlearning the mannerisms i used to have to perform in order for people to like me “as a woman”

for context, my haircut is slightly above shoulder length, should i go shorter? and clothing-wise i often wear pants, a graphic tee, a jean jacket and a baseball hat with combat boots …maybe i should dye my hair an unnatural color again 😭? wear more alt accessories? idk i fear this may just come down to my voice the more i think on it 🫠

Talk less, be confident almost arrogant when you talk, stiffer, CONFIDENT. You can be as friendly as you want as long as you ooze with confidence

a big thing to be is how you walk/carry yourself. typically masc ppl either carry their shoulders wider and higher and puff their chests out a little, or hunch. decide which fits you more. also, sway your whole body when you walk, not your hips!!

for example: i made peace with so-called “resting b*tch face”, i walk somewhat briskly, i got comfortable with taking up space (within reason)—i’m still decently friendly and accommodating with strangers, just less deferential and habitually-bubbly about it. beyond that, never a bad idea to experiment with different outfit silhouettes

you just made me realize my mannerisms are probably giving me away so bad. i look and dress so masc but i always speak softly and overly friendly
