The biggest thing preventing me from starting E is that I don’t want my dick to shrink, I’m tired of hearing “use it or lose it” because it’s actually more like “use it to only lose 10-20%”, but I don’t want to lose ANY!! Why is this unreasonable to ask??

you can use tgel near your bits to retain usability and size, but it'll obviously raise your T levels. it's a trade off.

Penis pump? You may still lose some but you can gain it back

I mean I used to care but after transitioning it doesn’t matter much to me

Does it shrink on lower doses for a limited time? That’s my plan.

Idk about testosterone but I know there’s localized estrogen that doesn’t raise whole-body levels and just works in the area it’s applied - there may be something like that. Separately there are tons of meds out there for ED, some of which also prevent atrophy while on E w/out reducing the efficacy of E

What I have heard is there are meds that people take (literally viagra - phosphodiesterase-5 drugs) before going to sleep that essentially cause enough blood flow in the area to do "maintenance boners" that otherwise don't happen on estrogen, and this effectively reduces/eliminates atrophy. It seems to be a very recent development that it’s prescribed for this purpose

They’re hit and miss. It becomes a chore, but the one I have helped a bit with length. Thickness it did nothing for.
