Red flag laws are good when the current government is acting in good faith about them, but trusting conservatives to act in good faith is a useless endeavor. Anyone who believes the current conservative movement cares about enacting policy in good faith is genuinely stupid

It’s not even just that to be trans legally u have to registered with a mental illness meaning all a transphobic person has to do is make one phone call and police will raid ur house and search through everything u own to take away all of ur self defense tools

Yeah I’d argue that has more to do with how we treat trans people medically than how red flag laws work is all, but I get what you’re saying
