I had to go to an outside lab to get mine drawn. I think it just depends on the location.

Also do they do labs in house or with a chain? I’m down for either, I just want to know how long I’ll have to wait at quest 😭

if it’s a legal change, they’ll 100% update it, it’s part of law. if it’s not updated, i don’t think they can change it, but they will add your preferred name and pronouns. they took my blood at the clinic but sent it to quest to actually test it and then i got my results emailed to me less than a week later

Mine did it in house which is like the one advantage over my current provider who does them through Quest

Did not know it was a legal requirement. I’ve been beefing with my local clinic over not changing it despite having updated it in 2022. I’m dumping them for PP
