friend of a friend i have talked to, said they were on grindr and put trans man, openly does advocacy for trans men, has she/her pronouns on instagram and every eboard club announcement or artist introduction post, gets annoyed when called he. they also degender me and other trans friends constantly, use language on us we've expressed we feel infantalized or weirder out by (tboi, tboy, even p*ssyboy once), their (accepting) partner has called them a woman more than once. it's really confusing

for the gender part, I know some lesbians (butch or otherwise) will prefer he/him and being called bf/masculine terms, so maybe it’s like that but opposite? being seen as a man but being called she/her & with fem terms? also idk what identities grindr lists but maybe she has a more complex identity but tman was closest. still unacceptable behavior tho 💀

the thing is they're not a lesbian, they're dating a cis man who i'm friends with 😭 it all feels weird and fetishy and he won't answer questions any time i try to bring it up. plus the grindr thing is so confusing because that's not really known for being the Lesbian App

yeah I’m saying maybe she has a gender expression like a butch lesbian but as a gay man & separated from lesbian culture? like I gen can’t think of anything else for why someone would identify as a trans guy long-term and also be ok with being gendered as a woman

like a butch lesbian but opposite* so instead of a masc woman/NB a attracted to women she’s a fem man/NB attracted to men. not to imply it’s a cultural 1-to-1 (it’s not), but that’s my only theory 😭 but you said he doesn’t want to answer, so it might gen just be weirdness. I just struggle to understand someone IDing that way long-term w/o it being an internal identity

yeah i have no idea. to be honest i don't want to assume the worst but i do considering how she's treated me and other trans men in my life. she also laughs at those "jokes" 4chan people make about like, "all ftms need raped" and shit. she's even threatened to "fix" my friend. it's so disturbing and i don't see myself keeping her partner as my friend for much longer if he keeps allowing this behavior in a partner

ok this person is actually disgusting 😭 tell your friend to not invite her to more shit or to have a conversation with her… speaking from experience, you might lose your friend, but if he’s actually chill then he might come back after breaking up & apologize
