Also! August is Transgender History Month! We should recognise awesome Trans people and events in the coming days! I wanna shout out Dr. Alan Hart, a Trans man who was instrumental in pioneering the use of X-ray photography in tuberculosis detection!!

I LOVE ALAN HART His method of detecting tuberculosis is still the best method used in every hospital to this day!! He has saved countless lives, he's a hero And he looks so cool in every picture look at this man

I’d like to shoutout Wendy Carlos. She’s a Grammy award winning musician and composer who worked on films like A Clockwork Orange, Tron, and The Shining. She pioneered a lot of work with the Moog synthesizer and developed significantly in electronic music. She turned the synthesizer from a more novelty instrument to an instrument that was, for lack of a better term, instrumental to soundtracks. If you’ve seen any of the movies I mentioned, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
