maybe you should move out. i know The Economy but like. being yourself is worth being poor as long as you can scrape together the money for rent and food

my mom did the same thing as your friends. she didn't get to be part of my self discovery because of how she'd been my entire life, and so when i told her i was trans, it seemed really sudden. but it wasn't. she just didn't get to see everything i'd put into it.

Could be better if you move in with someone close that supports you. That way not only do you have a place to live, but they could help you find a job and you both support each other in whatever ways possible afterwards.
