Bf here, can confirm that I do feel a lot better without body hair but shaving sucks so much ass (also laziness/depression makes it tougher), am interested in nair but am just nervous bc I’ve never used it before (and I’ve heard it smells a lot)

hi!! so 1. shaving does suck ass😭 im a trans woman and it takes me so long 2. nair does smell but if you have a good bathroom vent it’ll be ok. 3. you just have to make sure not to rub it in and make sure you don’t leave it on for more than 10 minutes and that you do a test patch so you understand how long it needs.

Maybe tmi but have you used nair for pubic hair/sensitive areas in general bc I hate shaving around there as well

DEFINITELY dont do that. i’ve tried and it is way to easy to get on your genitals. it can really burn there so i recommend not doing that. i usually have a bit of cream accidentally get on there but i can usually get it off in time.

also VERY IMPORTANT if you do burn yourself its a chemical burn so you treat it with cold compress. its not like razor burn that can be soothed with lotion

Nair isn’t bad, it def smells but it does a good job. Sometimes the timing is off depending on the thickness of the hair you want removed but it gets it down to just a little longer than a close shave, and from there it’s easier to manage day to day if you have an electric razor
