i feel that my mom gave me that one a lot but shes just looking out for your safety and best interest for the long-term future without realizing that you also factored that in while finding your identity. it sucks i hope she finds a diff way to express that protectiveness 😅

Whenever she does that to me, i just tell her it’s either me powering through that difficulty or her being at my funeral before im 35 — that ends it right there
