agree with everyone here. it's quite possible you're a)taking a supplement that's not what it says it is and that's making you ill b)taking one that is what it says it is, but that thing is still not a good fit/not only a dupe for estrogen for you c)not actually mimicking estrogen at all d)you're allergic to something in it. a dr prescription or even doing diy actual estrogen would be the way to go here.
Yup! I had a friend of a friend ask me about getting red itchy "hills" after injecting testosterone (they are cis and do it illegally for the gains, I am trans and do it for trans reasons) and I asked them if they get hay fever. Sesame oil can sometimes cause allergies and is what some bioidentical companies use as suspension! He swapped to cotton and it was fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Lol the mimics? What is that? And yes, estrogen at normal level is different from artificially induced high estrogen levels. I’m fairly certain I have some kind of estrogen sensitive condition. It feels good when I first start ingesting the stuff but then I start feeling really sick and get foggy brain and move slower. For example, the purerira murifica stuff. Others take a full capsule and are fine or even claim they have seen no changes. I take 10 percent of one capsule and
I highly, highly doubt it’s actually oestrogen you’re reacting to. Supplements that you just grab off a shelf do not do anything for DIY HRT and can often interact with any medications you are on or foods you eat. Grapefruit messes with SSRI meds, as an example. Don’t try to DIY with things that aren’t actually going to do anything. We have a number of resources that walk you through how to safely and properly DIY. Supplements aren’t it.
