I wish I could transition. (I still have time yada yada - I’m broke.) I know everyone is welcome at pride but it makes me really upset knowing most people will clock me as a girl instead of a guy if I go to anything. It just makes me sad

i understand. i’m a tguy early in my transition (still really closeted so “girlmoding” lol) i’ll be going to my first pride this year and i’m worried about that too. i think you should still go, no one at pride will be judging you and you might have a lot of fun. i’m sorry, good luck friend!!

Maybe, I don’t really have any pride gear Maybe it’s dysphoria, maybe it’s internalized transphobia, but i feel like even with pointers people will still just get it wrong. In places where I’m fully out (at college) people never get it right ever, so I figure that’ll just always be the case.

There will definitely be some table handing out pronoun pins and flags. People are stupid but hopefully they’ll be hyper aware at pride. Do you have any queer friends you can go with who you know won’t fuck it up?

Not really. Even with queer-friendly friends I always get misgendered (classic they/them usage in a trans guy type deal).
