Insurance just denied me coverage for my testosterone refill… again. I’m tired of constantly having to go through the appeal process

Be the squeaky wheel. Ask them to give you the name of the person who denied it and a letter explaining why. Then contest them on it by saying they are not the prescriber and it is a medical necessity. Make it a headache for them *every* time. You’ve got this!!

My doc filed the appeal as an emergency appeal so I think she’s making it a headache for them too. So thankful I have a doc that really cares

I’m so glad you have a doc who is actually more proactive in that sense!! Unless they’re willing to go to bat for patients on top of providing direct care, probably isn’t the field for them. 😤
