Ohh yea. Yea I didn’t know progesterone existed before I realized I was a trans girl and heard about it. But cis women not knowing about it is a bit surprising😭

I’m a boring cis lady, and I hadn’t heard about progesterone until I did my own digging. I’ll add that healthcare and education does seem to give a little less interest in teaching and helping women with their bodies in particular. 😭 From what I’ve seen, a lot of cis ladies don’t really get to learn about their hormones in somewhat detail until perimenopause. 🥲

Wish they taught the stages of menstruation because apparently I had cysts in my ovaries from previous cycles??

Omigosh yes, exactly!! I’m so sorry you’ve gone through that. This is exactly why it’s such a travesty that reproductive health is still so overlooked in both healthcare and education. 😢

I am a trans man and I didn’t know about progesterone. They do not teach us shit in school.
