I mean, clothes don’t always have to have gender but society does view certain things as more masculine or more feminine. I think what helped me decide that I truly wasn’t cis was that I genuinely felt that clothing stereotypical to my assigned birth-sex made me feel off/not happy. If you see clothing as less of a gender affirming tool and more as a hobby, then maybe it is just a cross dressing thing. In the end, it’s all about self exploration and what words/terms and clothing makes you feel ok

looking into other people’s experiences to see if you relate tbh. if you want educational resources to see if being trans/nonbinary fits you, look up “Trevor Project ally to trans people” for an article or “gender book second gumroad” if you want to look into it more in-depth :>

tbh, it kinda doesn't matter? like, it can be very personally important and something important to other people, but it's also like, if you want to wear different clothing or try hrt or a different name or pronouns, you can just, do that

i wanna be seen as a man and if i wear a dress i wanna be seen as a man in a dress. do you want to be seen as the gender or as someone dressing stereotypically as a different gender?
