“Oh it’s ok that you’re trans I’m bi anyway” is not the answer we’re looking for Bisexual people please recognize we are not some “best of both worlds” or “3rd option”, we’re just like everyone else. Anyway im tired of chasers sorry for the rant

“You’re the best of both worlds! You act like a girl, but have parts like a guy! Isn’t that neat how I’m pointing that out? Isn’t it cool how I’m using your body to tell you that you are still male? Isn’t it awesome that I’m denying you full acceptance of your gender?” *Strangles them and blows them up*

i think the only time it’s relevant is if you’re flirting with someone and later realize you’re trans then come out to them and the “i’m bi anyway” is in reference to “that gender also works for me” otherwise it’s like blegh please don’t

I think it can be good intentioned. when coming out as trans, people often have a worried/nervous expression or tone. sometimes people just want to be reassuring, so they say something like that. like “it’s ok that your trans, I like all genders so it’s not a factor”.

I can see ur point but someone can just be gay/a lesbian w/out a genital preference either. It’s like ur mismatching our genitals and us as people and it’s weird

That’s different but I’ve experienced so many cis men excuse their fetishization as bisexuality so it’s seen as valid

yea it’s uncomfy and that’s why only that specific situation it’s ok since you were flirting before having the trans awakening then you come out and they’re like “dw i’m bi so the gender changes nothing”
