I just need to put out some appreciation for the trans men bc tbh you’re just better at being men then some cis men. Like so many cis men are just obnoxious sexist assholes, but you guys come along and show the world masculinity can be healthy and amazing

Like I’m transfem and wish I could have enjoyed masculinity as much as all of you. Because when done healthily it’s truly awesome and commendable

i totally agree with u bc. tell me why (when i was still a cis F) my trans guy friends were literally raising my standards by doing the bare minimum. like i love you guys for showing me that this is how masculinity isn’t always toxic

Honestly I wish (as someone who is transfem) that the boys I grew up with were as comfortable with their masculinity and in touch with their emotions as much as trans men are. Like trans men by in large are just better at being men purely bc they’re not emotionally stunted dickwads

Like I still would have been uncomfortable as a man obvs, that wouldn’t change, but at least the environment wouldn’t have been so toxic

i also wish the environment of women that i grew up in wasn’t so toxic as well. like since fifth grade i didn’t want to be a woman. and now that im in college and able to express myself, my friends have become my family and have supported me so much. i finally got to tell them that im not a girl and now im going by my chosen name

Yeah I only have the perspective of someone raised as a boy, so I don’t know the level of toxicity in girls’ spaces. I can only speak for college aged cis women and up, which in my experience has been a much less toxic group than cis men Also: Found family>>>>>>blood relatives
