according to what sources? could it be that you just see more gnc trans men because the gnc part make them stand out compared to the ones that dont?

I think it may be bc a lot of us are encouraged to be more feminine, either by transphobes around us or other queer people in order to be “less scary.” I was very gnc for a long time bc of my parents’ influence and also bc I was surrounded by very femme queer people who would talk shit about masculinity quite often (they’ve changed, dont worry). I’m still somewhat gnc but more in an alt and draggy way, like painting my nails and doing eyeliner, or putting makeup and fem clothes on like a costume

bc a lot of trans guys want to be femmey twinkish gay guys and a lot of trans girls want to distance from masculinity as much as possible. idk it just is what it is
