Estrogen do that (and no it does not really get better). Estrogen has a tendency not only to heighten emotions but also just make crying easier and that combo is absolutely lethal and means that since going on estrogen I have cried at least once a week since transitioning, sometimes for no reason at all.

i upped my t so much it started converting back into estrogen and i had crying fits multiple times a week. it sucks but it happens. maybe, if therapy is accessible to you, you could go and work on some strategies to handle or head it off?

T on the other hand does the exact opposite, tends to dampen emotions (except anger for some reason) and generally make crying harder.

personally I think feminizing hrt is simply meant to make trans women dehydrated, whether it be from crying or having to pee all the time from spiro
